Viera is based at the University Institute of the Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Czech Republic, both as a researcher and project manager. She is responsible for international research cooperation of the energy storage research group, doing research focused on battery value chain analysis, and giving academic lectures in Sustainable Business. Additionally, she has long-term experience from the private energy sector (energy purchase and retail portfolio management) and from the public sector (regional energy strategy) as well.
