Iwona is a global development professional with a track record of designing and implementing energy access projects in low-income settings. Her key expertise is in energy access, particularly through decentralised, stand-alone solar home systems in Sub-Saharan Africa, and energy access in settings of displacement. She is currently a Research Consultant at Chatham House and a Research Associate at the Engineering for International Development (EFID) Centre at University College London, where she earned her MSc in Development Administration and Planning and a PhD in Energy.
