Stephanie’s research investigates energy management decision-making and interventions at the individual and organizational scales. One of Stephanie’s projects examines the determinants of achievement of Conservation and Demand Management (CDM) targets within Ontario’s Conservation First Framework, with an emphasis on the characteristics of exemplary Local Distribution Companies (LDCs). Another one of Stephanie’s projects is focused on the energy performance gap in office buildings, particularly the motivations and barriers related to building managers’ engagement in sustainable practices within the commercial real estate sector. Stephanie is a licensed Professional Engineer (P. Eng.), and an Energy Council of Canada Energy Policy Research Fellow, at the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Energy (WISE).
