Profile Description
- Dr. Madeleine McPherson is an Assistant Professor in the department of Civil Engineering at the University of Victoria and the principal investigator of the Sustainable Energy Systems Integration & Transitions Group. McPherson obtained her PhD focused on the integration of variable renewable energy resources from the University of Toronto in 2017, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship focused on demand response and storage integration at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. Currently, McPherson is developing an integrated modelling framework to explore electrification and energy systems integration for system-wide deep decarbonization.
