Jennie C. Stephens is Director of the School of Public Policy and Urban Affairs at Northeastern University and the Dean’s Professor of Sustainability Science & Policy. She is also Director of Strategic Research Collaborations at Northeastern’s Global Resilience Institute and is a member of the Executive Committee of Northeastern’s Women, Gender, Sexuality Studies program. Her research, teaching, and community engagement focus on social and political aspects of the renewable energy transition, gender diversity in energy and climate, energy resilience, energy democracy, reducing fossil fuel reliance, energy injustices, and strengthening societal resilience by integrating social justice with climate and energy policy.
