Colleen is a PhD candidate (ABD) at York’s Faculty of Environmental Studies conducting research on North American climate governance, specifically climate policy integration in the road passenger transportation sector in California and Ontario. After completing her MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics, where she focused on Nuclear Energy policy in Ontario, Colleen worked for the Walter and Duncan Gordon Foundation on a few projects centred on water quality monitoring and fracking in the Northwest Territories. Motivated by the scale and significance of the problem of global climate change, Colleen intends to continue working in the clean energy and sustainable consumption field with the hopes of aiding in the much needed transition to a low-carbon economy.
