Brianna Scrimshaw Botchwey is a doctoral student and SSHRC CGS Doctoral Scholar at the University of Toronto Department of Political Science and School of the Environment. Her research examines the intersection of environment and development issues. More specifically, she is interested in how the Sustainable Development Goals can best be used to leverage bilateral foreign aid to improve sustainability outcomes, including renewables, in the Global South. She holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge in International Relations and Politics and a BA in International Relations from the University of British Columbia.
