I am a research group leader of Energy Systems Modelling and Actor Behaviour at the Institute of Energy Economics and Rational Energy Use (IER), University of Stuttgart in Germany. My research focuses on analysing the significance of energy poverty on the energy system through the application of an energy-economics model and works towards improving the energy welfare of vulnerable households while achieving the energy and social objectives of the energy transition in the German context. I received my PhD in 2022 titled "System analysis of the significance of energy poverty on household energy use and emissions in Germany"
