Originally from Italy, I am a sociocultural anthropologist specialized in sustainability, energy transition and energy justice. My research projects focused in the past on investigating how human-environment relationships change as the landscape gets modified due to fossil fuel extraction. Following these interests, as the PI of a SSHRC funded project, I am currently conducting multi-sited ethnographic research in Canada and Italy examining renewable energy transition in agricultural communities and their lived experiences.
