Anaïs Varo holds an M.A in Human Rights. She is a Ph.D. Candidate in Politics, Policy, and Institutions. She is part of the Board of the UNESCO University Chair in Sustainable Human Development. Recently she has been awarded the Spanish National Prize of Graduation in Social Science and Law. She has completed research stays in the UAM (Mexico), Ecofys (Netherlands). She recently was awarded a Fulbright scholarship at Northeastern University (United States). Her current research focuses on energy vulnerability from an intersectional perspective, as well as energy democracy using the lens of commons’ studies.
