I am a PhD Candidate at McMaster University and researcher of International Political Economy. My dissertation research focuses on the developmental opportunities and challenges of energy transitions in Latin American hydrocarbon states and the impact that development financing has on these processes. My research interests apart from my dissertation are concerned with mining-related energy transition policies and the effects of transnational finance in these contexts. I hold an MSc. in Political Economy of Development from LSE, an MSc. in Economic and Governnace from Leiden University, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Toronto.
