DANA VERON

PhD, Associate Professor, University of Delaware, United States, sea breeze, offshore wind, boundary layer meteorology

I am an atmospheric physicist/meteorologist interested in the energetic and dynamic atmospheric processes that occur near the earth’s surface. My renewable energy research focuses on characterizing the coastal and offshore wind resource, improving wind predictability, and observing and modeling coastal winds, especially sea breezes. I am a founding member of the University of Delaware’s Center for Research in Wind (CReW, formly the Center for Carbon-free Power Integration).
