Dr Bronwyn Lazowski is a Policy Analyst with Natural Resources Canada. Dr Lazowski works on advancing sustainable energy transitions through research and policy, while also working towards increased inclusivity in the energy sector. Specifically, Dr Lazowski works with grid modernization, clean energy innovations, smart grid technologies, and intersectional approaches in energy programming and policy.
Dr Lazowski received her PhD from the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Environment and researched consumer engagement with smart grid technologies for residential energy management. Dr Lazowski’s PhD research investigated the potential of smart grid tools (e.g., in-home displays, web portals, goal-setting) to engage consumers towards a smart residential energy culture and novel ways for intervention design for the promotion of sustainable behaviours.
