ASIEH HAIERI YAZDI

Master’s degree in Energy Policy from University of Sussex, M.s., University of Dundee, United Kingdom, Energy Policy, International Relations, Just Transition.

I am a Ph.D. candidate and researcher in the Centre for Energy, Petroleum and Mineral Law, and Policy (CEPMLP) at the University of Dundee. My early background is a BSc in electrical engineering from the University of Tehran as a national exceptional talent, and a master’s degree in the same field from KNT University of technology. I developed my career in the T&D electricity sector as a top tier consultant in Iran and several developing/ less developed countries in MENA, East Africa, Persian Gulf, Eurasia, and South Asia. In 2015, I enrolled in a full MBA program at AmirKabir University of Technology (Polytechnic Tehran). In 2017, I joined the Science and Policy Research Unit (SPRU) at the University of Sussex in the master’s Energy Policy program and graduated with distinction in 2018.
