- Rebecca Grant is an Economic and Social Research Council funded PhD candidate at the University of Edinburgh. Her PhD examines energy (in)justices associated with the promotion and use of off-grid solar photovoltaic systems in rural Rwanda. This draws on a mixture of methods including interviews, participatory mapping, document analysis and geospatial analysis. She completed her MRes at the University of St Andrews in 2019 where she examined energy injustices associated with off-grid hydroelectricity in Malawi.
